Political and Public Engagement Team

My name is Ellie Mahony, and I joined the EPIC team in July 2023. My role involves communicating EPIC’s mission, work and impact by working closely with the EPIC Team and Youth Council members. I am passionate about using communications to create social change and I am thrilled to collaborate with EPIC’s Care Community to help amplify their voices.

Before joining the EPIC team, I worked in the Sexual Violence Centre in Cork. My role in the Centre was varied and I was responsible for the online presence of several campaigns including #FixedIt Ireland and Safe Gigs Ireland. I have also worked in a freelance capacity on a number of social impact projects.

My qualifications include a Masters in Public Relations from Dublin Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College Cork.
