EPIC Youth Council at YAP Ireland’s 2026 Conference

We were delighted to attend Youth Advocate Programmes Ireland’s National Conference at Croke Park, where members of the EPIC Youth Council were invited to share their voices and experiences.

For Anisa and Elora, it was a particularly exciting day as they took to the stage to deliver their very first conference speech. They represented the EPIC Youth Council brilliantly, speaking with confidence and sharing their perspectives with the audience. We’re incredibly proud of them for stepping up and making their voices heard. It was also lovely to have Andrea there to cheer Anisa and Elora on from the audience!

The conference theme was My Voice, My Choice, bringing together YAP’s groups from across Ireland alongside professionals working across the sector. It was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the work happening around the country, hear different perspectives and, most importantly, keep young people at the heart of the conversation.

A huge thank you to Youth Advocate Programmes Ireland for inviting the EPIC Youth Council to be part of such a special event and for creating a space where young people can share their experiences, perspectives and ideas.
